Andrew Z. Adkins III is one of a handful of truly independent legal technology consultants. He has been consulting with law firms, law departments, government agencies, courts, law schools, and legal technology companies for more than 20 years. He has authored several books and hundreds of articles on legal technology and made more than 200 presentations around the country. He provides technology assessments, IT staff assessments, computer hardware and software recommendations, long-range strategic technology planning, and general technology advice to his clients. He does not sell any software or hardware, but focuses on what's best for the client. His experience with case, matter, and practice management systems has led him to write two books, both published by the ABA Law Practice Management Section. He was also the chair of the ABA TECHSHOW 2000, 2001 and co-chair of the LegalTech Conferences 2000-2007. He is located in Gainesville, Florida.

Russell Alexander is a graduate of the University of Toronto and obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Russ was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1998 and commenced his practice in Lindsay, Ontario where he works exclusively on divorce law and family related matters, including custody, spousal support, child support, alimony and separation. Russ now has three offices located in southern Ontario in Markham, Whitby, and the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Bob has been writing and speaking about lawyers and the Internet for more than 15 years. The author of two books, he has written a syndicated column about the Internet since 1993 and Law Technology News has published his award-winning Web Watch column since 1999. In 1994, he founded the first Internet newsletter for lawyers, legal.online. He continues to track new and intriguing Web sites for legal professionals through his blog LawSites. He also writes the blog Media Law and co-authored Law.com's Legal Blog Watch for five years. Since August 2005, he has co-hosted the award-winning weekly legal-affairs podcast, Lawyer2Lawyer. In his law practice, Bob focuses on media and new media law. Earlier in his career, he was with ALM in New York, where he was editor-in-chief of the National Law Journal and editorial director of ALM's Litigation Services Division, responsible for the division's Web sites and other print and electronic publications. Before joining ALM, Bob was with Boston-based Lawye rs Weekly Publications, where he was founding editor of the national newspaper Lawyers USA and editor-in-chief of the company's flagship newspaper, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. A 1980 graduate of Boston College Law School, he is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and a trustee of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.

Jim Calloway is the Director of the Oklahoma Bar Association Management Assistance Program. He produces, along with Sharon Nelson, the podcast, The Digital Edge: Lawyers and Technology. This podcast covers numerous legal technology issues. He serves on the ABA Law Practice Management (LPM) Section Council and on the Board for LPM's Law Practice magazine. Mr. Calloway has been a featured speaker at numerous events including ABA Annual Meetings, nine previous ABA TECHSHOWs and numerous state bar association meetings and seminars. Mr. Calloway served as chair of the ABA TECHSHOW 2005 Board. Dennis Kennedy works as an in-house counsel for MasterCard Worldwide in its St. Louis offices where he focuses on information technology law. Dennis is also a widely-published legal technology author and frequent speaker. Dennis has been called one of the most influential authorities on the application of technology to the practice of law. Judge Mathias first practiced law as a trial and appellate attorney in a mid-size law firm in Fort Wayne, Indiana and then served as a trial judge there for 11 years. For the past 12 years he has served as a judge on the Court of Appeals of Indiana. While an appellate judge, he has served on the Judicial Technology and Automation Committee of the Supreme Court of Indiana as it has secured vendors and designed, developed and implemented technology solutions for the management of Indiana's caseload and court business. Judge Mathias has always taken a special interest in the intersection of law and technology, with an emphasis on making technology understandable and making the time spent with technology more productive and enjoyable. In this regard, he consults and speaks frequently to attorneys and judges on tech topics.
